Hi, I'm Sarah

As a trained embodiment & breathwork facilitator, somatic coach and trauma educator it is my biggest passion to support you on your journey of healing & transformation. I am also a lover of dance and meditation which impacts my work profoundly. â€‹

My approach is holistic, bridging neuroscience with ancient spiritual wisdom, body with mind, cognition with intuition and trauma awareness with tantric illumination to support you in processing trauma and emotions, and creating a more fulfilling life, rooted in self-awareness and the authentic ‘you’.

For many years I lived with unresolved trauma symptoms, and one thing that’s become clear to me on my healing journey is that our bodies are extremely powerful and wise, beyond what mind can even imagine, and always guide us towards balance & healing.

Rather than pathologising our symptoms and trying to "fix" or make them disappear, we can allow them to guide us into communicating with our bodies and their innate wisdom.

So instead of shaming our symptoms, feelings, and emotions, a paradigm shift is to become compassionate, curious and understanding of ourselves and our experience.

If we relearn the language of our bodies, their needs and boundaries, we not only get to resolve trauma and dysfunctional patterns sustainably, but also experience more vitality, pleasure and tap into deeper intimacy with ourselves and life.

My journey has been challenging, starting with personal struggles at just 13 years old, including disordered eating, self-harming behaviors, anxiety, body dysmorphia, and substance abuse.

At 17, I began practicing yoga, and by 19, I was travelling through Southeast Asia and later India. Immersing myself in cultures that emphasize devotion and ancient spiritual practices over capitalistic beauty standards and "faster-better-more"  profoundly impacted my body image and sense of self, helping me shed the Western patriarchal conditioning many of us face.

Having dealt with deep emotional pain from early trauma and years of struggling to accept my body, I deeply understand the shame, fear and difficulty of talking about it as well as the societal pressures that make self-acceptance so difficult, especially for women. My path led me through many years of secrecy & isolation that led to various unhealthy coping mechanisms until I discovered the transformative power of the body through Yoga, Tantra, and Somatic Therapy.

These practices allowed me to connect with myself more deeply and integrate my traumatic experiences, which had long affected my overall health as well as the way I related to myself and others. While I initially sought healing through conventional therapy and mindfulness, it was the combination of Somatic Therapy with the practices & philosophy of Tantra that truly shifted my reality and allowed me to transmute my pain into purpose. The untended wounds I’ve carried for so long became my Dharma.

Today, I live the life of my dreams, at home on a tropical island, part of a beautiful heart-open conscious community and in a loving relationship with my body and life. Years ago I would have never even allowed myself to dream this. And that’s exactly why I am so passionate about supporting others on their transformation journeys and sharing somatic & tantric tools:

My own journey and the transformation I have witnessed in many of my clients are testimonies that we don’t have to accept the painful reality we live in, but that we have a choice and ARE the creators of our own experience.

Yet, healing cannot happen in isolation - we need the support of others to repair what has been damaged in our early attachment-building processes. We need the support of Sisterhood and 20, 50, 100 women affirming, I have experienced something similar. There is something inherently healing in the words "I get you, I have been there too. nothing is wrong with you".

Therefor, my approach focuses on group work as well as fostering loving relationships with my clients, guiding and mentoring them from a place of authentic connection attunement to the unique rhythm and capacity of their body & nervous system.

Shed your skin as many times as you need. Learn to love the unbecoming.
